Senior Process Engineer

Production Engineering

• Maximize efficiency of operation and machine utilization.
• Train Assistant Engineer/Production Technician to ensure that they are able to perform their job effectively.
• Monitor and minimize scrap rate and improve yield in the section.
• Ensure that proper and documented maintenance of machines and equipment used in production.
• Co-ordinate with R&D in new product development.
• Standardize and document new process development and provide training to the staff.
• Implement cost reduction and productivity improvement.
• Maintain facilities to ensure equipment is in good and efficient working conditions.
• Make proposals for further improvement and implement it in production upon proposal.
• Machine troubleshooting and upgrade.

Quality Management system

• Ensure that work is performed in accordance to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management System
• Ensure in-line QC, SPC and disciplined documentation of data.
• Monitor and improve process stability and SPC / process capability values.
• Maintain and improve product quality.
• Take corrective and prevent recurrence action if non-conformance is found or process is out of control.
• Participate in the customer complaint-working group to assist and implement corrective and prevent recurrence action.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Academic study in PLC programming.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs and Siemens TIA Portal or STEP 7 software.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, such as Profinet and Profibus.
• Understanding of the principles, commissioning, and troubleshooting of field devices, including VFDs, servo drives, and sensors.
• Camera Knowledge will be an added advantage.
