Senior Product Analyst

This role oversees the Fragrance & Beauty Division, with key responsibilities including monitoring and improving forecasting accuracy, collaborating closely with the Area Retail Manager on wholesale sell-in proposals, serving as the primary liaison for wholesale matters, generating retail reports, and supporting various inventory functions within the division.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Forecast accuracy

  • Ensure accurate forecasting of Travel retail items to meet inventory KPIs and minimize L&O
  • Influence on the new product / campaign forecast by working closely with marketing, retail team to ensure enough stocks is planned to support sales and client ambition.

2. Sales & Targets Achievement

  • Support net sales budget planning by providing accurate monthly sell-in projections and relevant data analysis to enable informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by strategically planning wholesale sell-in proposals for both regular stock replenishment and new campaign products, supporting overall sell-through performance.

3. Supply Chain & Distribution Management

  • Oversee the full supply chain process for selling items to all wholesale - from order placement and stock allocation to performance tracking.
  • Ensure effective implementation of product strategies across all wholesale channels to drive sales performance and strengthen brand presence
  • Serve as the key liaison with the Distribution Centre (DC) to ensure timely order uploads, alignment with lead time requirements, and smooth stock handling across all divisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date PO and shipment tracking in coordination with Distribution Centre (DC) to ensure stock visibility and timely delivery.
  • Proactively assess and communicate the impact of shipment delays on campaign readiness and stock availability.

4. Inventory Planning & Stock Optimization

  • Oversee weekly M2M local market stock replenishment, ensuring timely validation of purchase orders and maintaining optimal stock coverage in line with sales trends and marketing calendars.
  • Ensure the right product assortment is available in the right quantity, at the right place, and at the right time.
  • Drive stock performance through regular review of product movement, including stock transfers and rebalancing between POS where needed.
  • Plan and execute stock-related activities such as End-of-Life (EOL) and Old Batch Code (OBC) management.

5. Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Allocate campaign stocks by POS to ensure sell-thru accuracy, timely availability, and successful campaign launches. ·
  • Monitor all new campaign orders for both Selling Items and SPMs, tracking pending allocations, pick-pack lead times, shipping status, and ETAs.
  • Manage the drop and delivery of campaign stock to DCs, ensuring products are available and set up ahead of launch dates.
  • Support pre-event planning by providing updated inventory data and coordinating with regional teams to secure additional stock if needed.
  • Proactively prevent out-of-stock situations across all product categories at POS.

6. Delivery Planning

  • Develop and manage monthly delivery schedules (FBP), aiming to minimize ad hoc shipments and ensure timely distribution.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate timely approvals for stock return orders and POS stock take adjustments.
  • Support local product registration processes in preparation for product launches.
  • Coordinate various stock-related activities, including product quality inquiries with Global, product recalls or destruction, Anti-Diversion documentation, and follow-up on local inspections with Retail and Legal teams.
  • Manage staff-related programs such as staff sales and quarterly staff product allowance planning and ordering.
  • Oversee product activation in internal systems, including product code creation and mapping for Eyewear and SLG Palm categories. · Submit and track Coupa system requests on behalf of the Product team
  • To be responsible for maintaining the master list of Malaysia’s product catalogue across all-axis with up to date information on product life cycle and to main the price list for dissemination to trade partners.

DRIVING BUSINESS

  • Consolidate data and generate actionable insights to support business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance, developing action plans to achieve sales, profit, sell-in, and sell-through targets.
  • Identify top-performing and underperforming products, implementing strategies to maximize sales and mitigate inventory risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Distribution Center, Marketing, and Retail to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Job Requirement

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, merchandising, communications, research or retail
