The Home Buying team is building a brighter future for all by unlocking the dream of home ownership for all Australians. We are responsible for the end-to-end management of CBA’s Home Loan business including distribution through proprietary and third-party channels, acquisition, retention, customer experience, risk, change and continuous improvement.
The Apply with Ease Crew is reimagining how Australians apply for, manage and grow their home lending relationship with CBA. We are focused on creating the easiest and fastest home loan experience in market - from application and verification through to settlement, servicing and future customer needs.
Within the Crew, our team plays a critical role in shaping simpler, safer and more intuitive home lending experiences. While verification remains a key focus, the role will particularly support a transformational opportunity in the home loan top ups space enabling our customer to seamlessly progress with confidence.
Do work that matters
Based in our Foundry office in Sydney (with flexibility of other locations for the right candidate), you’ll join the newly formed Top Ups Experience squad operating in a hybrid environment as a Senior Product Manager.
You will be responsible for helping to shape the end-to-end product roadmap/strategy, development and delivery of the top ups experience within the strategic origination platform. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner, engineers, designers, operations, risk, compliance, policy and technology teams to improve how customers apply for, verify, and access top ups within their home lending with CBA.
In this role, you will
Shape and deliver the evolution of the home loan top-ups application experience within a complex regulatory and compliance framework
Leverage data, feedback and insights to identify opportunities to improve the user experience and reduce the time-to-decision
Translate requirements into clear product intent and delivery outcomes
Prioritise work to manage risk, resolve issues and improve the customer experience Own operational risk, including issues, incidents and control uplift
Engage stakeholders and governance forums across compliance, policy, lending, operations and technology
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
Extensive experience delivering end‑to‑end outcomes as a Product or Senior Product Manager in complex organisations
Demonstrated ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders through strong communication skills
A data‑driven approach to problem solving and decision making to translate complex problems into clear product outcomes/requirements
Comfort working with ambiguity and prioritising outcomes (Jira/Confluence experience is beneficial)
Strong understanding of regulated environments and safe product delivery
Ideally, experience or strong understanding of home lending, origination, verification, servicing, customer growth or financial services
