Senior Product Manager - Edifecs

Overview

The Senior Product Manager – Edifecs is the liaison between business stakeholders, product management leadership and engineering managers. This role works with these stakeholders to understand current and future needs related to one or more products and/or modules and iteratively develop product features to evolve products based on product roadmap. Senior Product Manager – Edifecs is well versed with working in agile / scrum framework, software development lifecycle and uses this expertise to bridge gap between customer facing product management and engineering / development functions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product development lifecycle end-to-end: discovery, requirements, roadmap planning, feature definition, release execution, and post-launch maintenance for a pre-defined product area.
  • Lead product initiatives focused on healthcare enrollment, including ingestion, validation, transformation, error handling, reconciliation, and downstream system integrations.
  • Requirements Gathering: Working closely with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements, ensuring that the product meets the needs of both internal and external users.
  • Translate business and regulatory needs into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications.
  • Sprint / Project Management: Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. This includes defining sprint / project timelines, managing resources, and coordinating efforts across different teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products & incremental improvements.
  • Create and maintain product documentation for features, release notes, conceptual data flows, and product interfaces.
  • Incorporate a strong design mindset, working closely with UX/UI partners to define intuitive workflows, simplify complex enrollment processes, and ensure solutions are user-centered and easily accessible.
  • Partner with engineering teams to prioritize backlog, clarify requirements, and maintain product quality across releases.
  • Collaborate with QA and engineering to ensure robust test coverage and overall product quality.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance in Health Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or other quantitative field
  • 5-8+ years of product management experience
  • Strong understanding of healthcare member enrollment processes, including eligibility, enrollment maintenance, reconciliation, and benefits administration for different Lines of Business.
  • Prior experience working in a product development lifecycle (Agile preferred), including backlog management, roadmap planning, and feature delivery.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and complex enrollment workflows into clear business requirements.
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, including working with offshore team members.
  • Ability to engage with technical teams (e.g. engineering, client, implementation) to discuss data models, workflows, and system behavior in case of critical production bugs.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Prior experience as Software Engineer
  • Prior experience with Edifecs tools or platforms (EAM, SpecBuilder, TM, ENR, XEServer, XEngine).
  • Understanding of related EDI transactions (e.g., 834, 999, TA1).
  • Exposure to member enrollment processes for Group and Medicaid LOBs.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and modern integration patterns.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Pay Transparency:

Base compensation ranges from $115,000.00 to $140,000.00. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
