Senior Product Manager - Payments

You will own the fiat payments lifecycle and define and execute the strategic vision for fiat payments infrastructure. You will drive the core deposits and withdrawals across multiple European geographies, balancing local payment methods and cost. You will work closely with engineering to specify requirements, design robust payment state machines, and handle edge cases. You will optimize conversion and unit economics through smart routing and negotiate with partners, while automating broker operations and serving as the main contact for external PSPs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the retail fiat lifecycle across multiple European geographies, driving the deposits and withdrawals roadmap and local payment method localization.
  • Embed deeply with engineering and drive high-velocity agile execution by writing precise PRDs and managing scope from ideation to delivery.
  • Architect robust payment state machines with edge-case handling and idempotent designs to minimize lost deposits and user friction.
  • Optimize conversion via smart routing by building intelligent routing logic and clear user messaging to prevent funnel drop-off.
  • Relentlessly optimize unit economics by reducing processing costs through routing efficiencies and multi-rail optimizations.
  • Automate broker operations by partnering with Finance Fraud and Risk to design ledgering and settlement monitoring tools.
  • Serve as the main product contact for external providers and PSPs, guiding technical discovery and enforcing SLAs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience within a high-growth consumer fintech, neobank, or retail broker platform.
  • Hands-on agile executor fluent in API ergonomics, webhooks, microservices architecture, and system observability tools.
  • Strong focus on conversion and user experience, with ability to translate complex financial mechanics into simple user flows.
  • Deep knowledge of core financial rails including SEPA, SEPA Instant, Faster Payments, card schemes, clearing and settlement cycles.
  • Proven data-driven approach with proficiency in analytical tools or SQL to diagnose funnel drop-offs and system failure modes.
