By joining Datavant today, you’re stepping onto a driven and highly collaborative team that is passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.
The Provider Product team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join a team that’s completely transforming how healthcare providers exchange information. You’re one to get excited when you see a challenge, you love trying new things, and learning about and improving your craft of product discovery and delivery is a constant interest.
As Senior Product Manager, Platform in our Release of Information (ROI) product zone, you’ll own the strategy and roadmap for the core ROI platform, including the shared capabilities, integrations, data foundations, and user experiences that enable ROI product teams to deliver value at scale. You’ll partner closely with engineering, operations, design, and product leaders across Datavant — including Payer, Legal & Insurance, Provider, and Life Sciences vertical teams — to understand business needs, identify integration opportunities, and build a platform roadmap that enables their strategies.
This role is highly cross-functional and highly leveraged. You’ll help ensure that the ROI platform is performant, resilient, observable, and available for the teams and users who depend on it every day. You’ll own key platform health outcomes, including application uptime, mean time to recover from major incidents, the current state of Healthsource, and the reliability of integrations into and out of Healthsource and ROI.
Your first 90 days will include:
- Learning all about the core business of information exchange / release of information in healthcare
- Diving deep into the current ROI platform, Healthsource, core data models, shared capabilities, integrations, and operational workflows
- Meeting with product, engineering, operations, and vertical business stakeholders across Provider, Payer, Legal & Insurance, and Life Sciences to understand their priorities and platform needs
- Creating and socializing a clear ROI platform strategy and roadmap that balances business enablement, user needs, reliability, technical quality, and operational scalability
- Prioritizing platform investments that unlock high-impact work across multiple ROI product teams and vertical strategies
- Defining success metrics for platform performance, resilience, availability, observability, integration quality, and incident recovery
- Shipping meaningful improvements to platform reliability, integration performance, or core user experiences
- Establishing strong stakeholder communication practices so teams understand what the platform team is building, why it matters, and how it supports their goals
What you bring to the table:
- 5-7+ years of product management experience, including demonstrated experience managing large-scale product platforms, infrastructure products, enterprise systems, or shared capabilities used by multiple product teams
- Proven ability to translate complex stakeholder, user, operational, and technical needs into a clear product roadmap and strategy
- Strong platform product instincts, with experience building products that balance scalability, reliability, usability, business enablement, and technical quality
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on platform architecture, system performance, reliability, observability, integrations, APIs, data models, or operational tooling
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; you can align diverse teams around priorities, tradeoffs, and a long-term strategy
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, complex environments with many dependencies and high business impact
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to understand user needs, diagnose platform issues, prioritize work, and measure outcomes
- Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and business leaders to build and launch platform capabilities
- Interest in the US healthcare provider / payer / services industry
- Experience coming up to speed in a regulated industry, inexplicable desire to read and grapple with regulations
