Senior Product Manager

About SpotDraft.
SpotDraft is on a mission to help legal and business teams move faster, together. Our AI-powered contracting platform is redefining how companies manage contracts, and our story deserves to be told in creative, human, and memorable ways.

Top Outcomes:

Senior Product Managers own a product area's outcomes. You operate independently within team goals, are given white space to set the why and frame the what and how, and are trusted to decide your area's roadmap, prioritisation, and the outcomes it commits to. You carry influence across pods and with external stakeholders.

We grade outcomes, not output. A shipped feature is necessary but never sufficient. The bar is the change it causes against a stated hypothesis: adoption, a behaviour, or a number that moves.

Day to Day:

  • Be the authority on your area's customers. Run discovery directly, own win/loss for your area, and keep its top churn and loss drivers visible in the org's priorities. Resolve discovery into a crisp persona and value proposition for what gets built.

  • Own the area roadmap and prioritisation. Maintain one ranked backlog sized by quantified demand. Make the business-value case and name the opportunity cost for every proposal, and decline off-ICP work with reasoning. Be the team's authority on your market: competitors, category trajectory, analyst and buyer signals.

  • Envision how AI evolves the workflow. Evaluate every initiative for how AI can enhance, evolve, or fundamentally reinvent the way the work gets done, not just bolt onto it. SpotDraft is an AI-native product, so this is core craft. Ship AI where it wins.

  • Use analytics to predict and track behaviour. Have a clear understanding of how analytics are used to predict and track user behaviour, instrument your area against an adoption baseline, and feed that understanding directly into the product roadmap. Every initiative carries a hypothesis, a confidence level, and a named falsifier.

  • De-risk early. Write the problem before the spec. Pre-mortem every committed bet, name the riskiest assumption, and run the cheapest test before build. Carry leading and lagging indicators for your value metric.

  • Drive iterative delivery. Ship a potentially shippable increment each sprint, each advancing a stated outcome or learning, with the right speed and quality trade-offs and a short time to first validate learning.

  • Be a champion of clarity. Produce a source-of-truth brief and enablement for major GA releases, pre-address stakeholder feedback, and run no surprise releases. Every partner function signs off that it has what it needs.

Close collaboration is a must

You will work hand in hand with Development, QA, and Design through the entire build, alongside Legal Tech, PMM, Sales, SE, and Customer Success. Tight, continuous partnership with Dev, QA, and Design is non-negotiable.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant product management experience in a B2B SaaS product company, with a track record of shipping high-impact products that moved a business outcome, not just a feature list.

  • Outcome ownership at area scope. You have owned a product area or major surface end to end, set its direction from a goal, and been the person other pods consult on it.

  • Evidence-driven judgement. You instrument what you build, state confidence with support, and change your plan when the data disconfirms it. You can analyse and synthesise data, including writing SQL, and are fluent with analytics tools (Amplitude, Metabase, Google Analytics, or equivalents).

  • Customer fluency. You empathise across many personas and use cases and can articulate who a product is for and the value it claims in the customer's terms.

  • AI fluency in your own workflow. You use AI to compress your largest time costs, which is the prerequisite for evaluating AI well in the product.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with a knack for articulating customer challenges clearly and a good understanding of UX design practices in SaaS.

  • Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity, owning initiatives end to end in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
