Summary of the Role
Drive sustainable growth of the MMG portfolio by achieving revenue and profitability targets while developing long-term partnerships with key accounts.
Bridge technical expertise with customer engagement to ensure successful product implementation, standardization, and alignment with clinical and market requirements.
Lead project execution, pipeline development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value-based healthcare solutions.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
Promote products and services within assigned hospital accounts to healthcare professionals (HCPs) to meet or exceed sales targets
Develop, implement, and maintain account management plans to drive growth strategies for key accounts, build customer awareness, and arrange and lead product demonstrations
Identify and expand opportunities within existing and new accounts
Develop a strong understanding of the market, while tracking competitor activities and customer preferences
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through strong customer relationships, product support, and value-added services
Manage negotiations and agreements during the sales process, and represent the company at local events and conferences
Continuously improve product knowledge and selling skills to deliver exceptional support and differentiate Terumo from competitors
Provide clinical and technical advice and support to surgeons and nurses to ensure the accurate and safe use of products
Support the launch of new products within assigned accounts
Undertake additional duties as required to support the achievement of overall company objectives
Complete and submit all required reports (sales, customer, expense, etc.) within timelines specified by management
Demonstrate enthusiasm for continuous learning about products, competitors’ offerings, and current market trends and best practices
Conduct all activities with integrity, demonstrating ethical practices and consistent professional behavior
Implement sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives
Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships
Education & Experience
Degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Science, or other relevant healthcare-related fields
Minimum 5+ years of experience in medical device, healthcare, or related industry
Experience in hospital environment, clinical application support, or medical device sales is preferred
Proven track record in driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and supporting healthcare professionals
Experience in tender processes, project implementation, and stakeholder management across multidisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, IT, biomedical engineers)
Functional / Technical Skills
Strong product, clinical application, and technical knowledge (e.g., infusion systems, protocols, and hospital workflows)
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, coaching, communication, and consultative selling skills
Ability to drive value-based / solution-based selling by linking product features to clinical and operational outcomes
Strong project management and pipeline management capability (tender, sale funnel, project lifecycle)
Data-driven mindset with capability in sales forecasting, funnel management, and performance tracking
Self-starter with strong results orientation and ability to drive business growth toward long-term strategic goals
Experience in cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, clinical specialists, and enabling functions
