Senior Project Engineer
Job Description
- Lead, manage, and monitor the day-to-day execution of engineering projects to ensure milestones and technical specifications are met.
- Develop detailed project execution plans, track timelines, manage project budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
- Review engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, authorities, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project communication and issue resolution.
- Identify potential project risks, engineering bottlenecks, or safety hazards, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to local regulatory standards, building codes, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 5–8 years of proven experience in project engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Strong track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects from inception to handover.
- Deep understanding of local engineering standards, building codes, and workplace safety regulations.
