Senior Project Engineer
This Opportunity
Be involved in projects with our Florida Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Project Engineer in Central Florida. This role can sit out of the Altamonte Springs, Orlando, Lakeland, or Tampa office.
This individual will support high-profile and alternative delivery transportation-market projects throughout Central Florida. This will require a seasoned leader capable of managing a large CEI team and complex transportation projects.
Your Impact
Participate as a member of the Consultant Construction Engineering and Inspection (CCEI) contract team
Direct a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection project/program
Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members; develop and/or review project specific policies, methods, practices, and procedures
Review programs for conformance with Client standards
Identify and pursue future opportunities
Responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent professional relationship with those organizations to facilitate both the successful completion of current ongoing projects and the successful pursuit of follow-on assignments
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
State of Florida Registered Professional Engineer
12 years of Engineering experience
Valid Driver’s License
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months)
CTQP Quality Control Manager (Pass Exam)
FDOT Advanced MOT #LI-JR1
