We’re seeking 3 experienced Senior Project Managers to join our growing team and lead complex projects across the manufacturing, food processing, dairy and industrial sectors. This is an opportunity to work with industry-leading clients, influence major investment decisions, and be part of a team that delivers projects from concept through to commissioning.
With a number of significant projects valued at $50mil plus commencing in September and October, join Babbage at a time of strong growth and project activity.
The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of the successful delivery of complex engineering and manufacturing projects, guiding them from initial concept and planning through to construction, commissioning and operational handover. Working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams, you will coordinate project programmes, budgets, resources and technical delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
You’ll play a key role in managing stakeholder relationships, identifying and resolving project risks, overseeing construction activities, and driving projects forward with a practical, solutions-focused approach. Beyond project delivery, you will contribute to the continued growth of the business through proposal development, client engagement and the identification of future opportunities, helping strengthen Babbage’s reputation as a trusted project delivery partner.
About You
We’re looking for a confident project leader who combines strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.
You will bring:
- A degree qualification in Process Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering industrial, manufacturing or processing projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering project delivery across design and construction phases.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets, programmes and project performance.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Experience within dairy, food processing or related manufacturing industries will be highly regarded.
