Senior Project Manager - Land Development

The Senior Project Manager role provides leadership and oversight for a wide range of land development and public works projects, encompassing site civil design, permitting, and project delivery. The position leverages strong stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise to support multidisciplinary efforts, while maintaining a broad scope that is not limited to stormwater-focused practice.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 10-15 years of relevant land development engineering experience including the following:
  • Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals
  • Coordinating with multiple design teams and managing client interactions
  • Providing land development engineering services in Texas
  • Stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise applied within broader land development projects
  • Demonstrated experience with client management, business development, and negotiating scope and fees
  • Overseeing complex permitting, construction plan production, and master planning efforts
  • 7+ years of progressive project management experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring staff
  • Proficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Central Texas market experience, particularly the San Antonio and Austin regions
  • Familiarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulations
  • Experience with proposal writing and client-facing presentations
  • Experience delivering private site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design, as stand-alone assignments or as part of multidisciplinary project teams
