Job Description
The core focus of this team will be to provide a best-in-breed, AI focused, Project Management service to this world leading area of Jellyfish Creative. This will include planning and pipeline management, budget management, linguist resource overview and capacity management and financial management - reconciliation, client billing preparation and reporting, as well as working with the other language leaders to streamline processes and apply AI wherever possible, including the deployment of AI Agents, to generate efficiencies.
As a Senior Language Producer, you will be expected to provide both leadership and hands-on execution, ensuring your projects meet financial, creative, and operational goals. You will oversee project planning, scoping, and production, ensuring that projects are managed efficiently while mentoring and coaching junior producers.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
End-to-end project management from scoping to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Collaborate with Client Management to align project expectations, maintain clear communication, and lead client-facing updates.
Budget oversight – track financial health, manage POs, reconcile invoices, and flag commercial risks proactively.
Partner with Resource Management to ensure appropriate talent casting and workload distribution across internal and freelance teams.
Implement structured workflows and process efficiencies, championing best practices within Integrated Production.
Problem-solve in real time, responding to production challenges with agility and creativity.
Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
Escalate risks and issues to more senior members of the Language Production team when appropriate. Addresses low-priority risks independently.
Build strong client relationships, representing Jellyfish at a project level and ensuring project success.
Ensure effective freelance resource planning, having an overview of linguists' performance and availability within your projects, and planning this capacity against client scopes, to ensure that we have the required resources to deliver on clients’ behalf.
Qualifications:
Project Management & Organizational Excellence – Strong ability to plan, scope, and oversee projects, ensuring financial, operational, and creative alignment.
Language Production Knowledge – Understanding of language production workflows, including creation, localisation, and AI-powered automation.
Budgeting & Commercial Acumen – Ability to track costs, reconcile expenses, and ensure projects remain financially viable and commercially strategic.
Stakeholder Management – Skilled at working with internal teams, external suppliers, and clients, maintaining strong relationships.
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Capable of managing multiple projects, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions proactively.
Attention to Detail – Impeccable ability to maintain quality control and uphold creative integrity while meeting business objectives.
Communication & Negotiation – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.
Leadership & Team Collaboration – Able to motivate teams, mentor junior staff, and drive collective success.
Note: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees. If you want to join our collaborative team, we invite you to apply today with your resume in English.
