Senior Public Relation Officer (SPRO)

Responsibilities:

• Handles and resolves conflicts, enquiries, feedback and complaints from client, consultants, building management, public, CAG, NEA and various stakeholders through e-mails and phone calls pertaining to the project.

• Maintains good support and positive relations among organisations, stakeholders and the public.

• Planning and launching of public relations programme

• Responsible for the production of all communication materials related to the public relations effort

• Maintains proper record of all public relation cases, correspondences and communication materials.

• SPRO is to proactively initiate and take charge all public relations engagement and outreach activities, such as face-to-face dialogue sessions, exhibitions, roadshows etc

• SPRO shall interface with the LTA, CAG, PTO and all relevant stakeholders on the design of visuals on the hoardings at stations.

• SPRO will also serve as secretary to meetings/dialogue sessions and briefings to the stakeholders etc. and submit a minutes of meeting after each session.

• Supports and handles administrative works.

• Manning of 24-hour Project Hotline

• Build and maintain strong relationships with CAG.

• Other ad hoc duties as per assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of SPRO working experience (LTA)

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.

• Excellent client facing with strong people orientation ability to build and develop positive relations with the Authority (LTA, CAG, PUB, NEA and stakeholders).

• Proven experience in public relations, preferably in the construction sector.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Must be able to work under pressure.

• Able to work independently with initiative and able to adapt in a fast- paced environment
