Senior Python Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for Python Engineers.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You will work closely with the Engineering Manager.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Product Analyst's/Managers to refine user stories and requirements and identify,<\/span> <\/span><\/span>prioritize and execute tasks within the software development life<\/span> <\/span><\/span>cycle.

<\/span><\/p>

  • Develop and maintain Python applications<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Design and deliver reliable, readable, and maintainable code<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Implement new features, perform code reviews, provide technical support, and resolve bugs<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Contribute to system architecture design and create technical documentation<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Actively participate in code reviews and help improve overall engineering standards<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical solutions and project progress<\/span>
    <\/p><\/li>

    Our tech\-stack is continually evolving but to give you a flavour of what we\u2019re currently working with here are some of the tools we use;<\/span>
    <\/span>Languages:<\/span> <\/span>Python<\/span>
    <\/span>Tools:<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, cloud AWS, Grafana, Firebase<\/span><\/p>

    Methodologies:<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Agile, Scrum; we have 14 day sprints and SU are held online using Slack<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • At least 4\-5 years of experience<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>as Software Developer.
      Should have an experience with<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>fintech processes<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>and big plus<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>knowledge of cards issuing/processing.
      Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).
      Fluency in<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.
      Ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages.
      Experience with SQL databases {PostgreSQL, MySQL}.
      Good understanding and working knowledge of<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span>Django.
      Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
      Experience in working in cross\-functional teams is an advantage.
      Exellent communication skills.<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul>
