Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Job Location: ITPB Whitefield, Bengaluru / Commerzone IT Park, Yerwada Pune

  • Required Experience: 06 - 09 Years.

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to strengthen our quality engineering efforts across UI and API testing. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with Selenium or Playwright, experienced with Postman, REST Assured, and driven to contribute to framework enhancements, suggest improvements, and champion quality within Manual and Automation team activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing using Selenium, Playwright.

  • Ability to develop and maintain automation test scripts.

  • Develop and execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Manually test the system under test and proactively identify gaps, bugs and other adoption of best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, improve coverage, and ensure high-quality releases.

  • Create, update and maintain test cases on Qtest and within the automation framework.

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning within the QA organization.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6–9 years of experience in QA automation and Java

  • Proven hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright for UI automation.

  • Experienced in API testing using Postman or REST Assured

  • Familiar with Manual Testing Processes and Testing Methodologies

  • Familiarity with Test management systems such as QTest (or similar test management tools).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Proactive and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Works in a team of QA Professionals within their discipline.

  • Communicate daily/weekly goals and monitor and report self-progress.

  • Ensure tasks are completed to achieve self-goals.

  • Communicate with other departments within LNW to prevent issues from arising and correct existing problems during the development cycle.

  • Escalations of any product issues found during automation or manual testing are properly communicated.

  • Own continuous improvement for existing and new test processes and methodologies.

  • Responsible for ensuring that proper communication regarding testing is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensures all work is completed through the agreed acceptance criteria.

  • Adhere to all current QA Processes.

  • Develops new/ maintain tests scripts within the current Test Automation framework.

  • Creates new/maintain test cases within Qtest.

  • Estimate, prioritise, planned and coordinate testing activities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
