Senior Quality - Build Qualification and Release, Siri
The Siri team is developing the next generation of Siri and new frameworks making Siri more intelligent across the entire Siri stack. This role is to ensure the quality of the code introduced by developers maintains high standards ensuring Siri high quality with no regressions. Monitoring pipelines, ensuring no regressions are being introduced and continue to grow test coverage in a scalable way with different testing technologies and techniques related to Functional teasing and Evaluation.
As part of the role, drive quality first processes monitoring reports, tests, solving problems to increase coverage by adding more tests, improve the test harness and adopt new technologies that tests at scale to improve the quality standards. Review data, triage issues and drive discussions with engineering partners to ensure timely resolution of issues found to meet the goal of no regressions.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years as Software Developer Engineer in Test
4+ years Designing and Architecting tools and frameworks to support testing
Proficient in Python and/or Swift
Experienced in Testing Pyramid, Component, Integration, System and End-to-End testing
Experienced in Shift to left experiences
Proficient in CI/CD environments to deploy and schedule pipelines for testing
Good analytical skills reviewing dashboards and data to help make decisions
Excellent leadership in driving the development of tools and frameworks driven towards excellence in quality
Shown problem solving and debugging skills: analyze and investigate test failures, errors, and build issues, able to properly drive issues to completion and support issues with data
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Possess an outgoing and positive demeanor to mobilize and lead others
Bachelor's in Computer Science (or 6yrs equivalent work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with conversational AI technologies and frameworks
Familiarity with Apple's research and products
Master's in Computer Science
