Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
- Oversee the submission of Main Contract progress claims, variation claims, and EOT claims.
- Lead the preparation and negotiation of subcontract agreements and final accounts.
- Resolve contractual disputes with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects.
- Prepare detailed cost comparisons and procurement recommendations for review by senior management.
- Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Lead the preparation and submission of variation orders, claims, and EOT requests.
- Ensure all claims are supported by accurate documentation and comply with contract terms.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including cost forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, claims, and procurement activities.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and clients on contractual and financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, contract forms, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements :
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with an A1 main contractor in Singapore.
- Advanced knowledge of construction estimating methods, cost control principles, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to lead teams under tight deadline.
