Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the full tendering process, including review of tender documents, attend briefings and site visits, and prepare tender submissions
    (including drawings/specifications review, quantity take-off, sourcing and evaluation of quotations, and documentation compilation)

  • Prepare tender and contract documents for subcontractor and supplier awards
    (including quotation invitations, cost comparison, and subcontract drafting)

  • Manage subcontractor and supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Prepare, submit, and negotiate progress claims with clients and consultants, and monitor certification and payment status.

  • Lead the preparation and submission of Variation Orders (VO) and Extension of Time (EOT) claims, including commercial evaluation and negotiations with clients and consultants.

  • Coordinate and chair meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve contractual, commercial, and project-related matters.

  • Support all other contract administration and tender-related functions as required


Job Requirements


  • Diploma / Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or its equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Residential Construction Industry, preferably with HDB Project experience

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, commercial management, and procurement practices.

  • Ability to work independently, lead project commercial functions, and mentor junior team members.
