Senior Regulatory & Compliance Manager (6-Month FTC)
You will lead UK licensing programmes including FSMA authorisation and Money Laundering Registration, provide regulatory guidance across UK and EU frameworks, engage with regulators, and support ongoing compliance and reporting. You will work with senior stakeholders to interpret regulatory requirements and ensure products and services stay compliant.
Responsibilities
- Lead UK licensing programmes, including FSMA authorisation and Money Laundering Registration, conducting gap analyses, drafting applications for Q3 2026, and coordinating remediation across the business.
- Provide regulatory guidance across UK and EU frameworks, including jurisdictional analysis, product permissibility assessments, and reverse-solicitation considerations.
- Support senior regulatory engagement, drafting responses to regulatory enquiries and contributing to ongoing supervisory interactions.
- Conduct regulatory horizon scanning, ensuring timely identification and implementation of regulatory change across operating jurisdictions.
- Advise product teams on compliance considerations for new and evolving digital asset services.
- Contribute to broader compliance work, including policy development, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in regulatory policy or compliance, with advisory experience.
- Direct hands-on experience leading licensing or registration programmes such as FSMA authorisation, Money Laundering Registration, or drafting regulator applications.
- Strong knowledge of FCA, PRA, FSMA, MiFID, SEC, CFTC, GDPR, and digital asset regulatory frameworks.
- Deep understanding of the UK FSMA licensing regime and its application to cryptoasset services.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Direct experience engaging with regulators or senior external stakeholders, such as the FCA, supervisory teams, or board-level audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a calm, structured approach to managing competing priorities.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Able to work 2 days per week on-site.

- A law degree is a plus.
