Senior Relationship Managern (FX) Transactions Sales - Japan

Role profile:

Join us as an FX Relationship Manager in Japan, driving client engagement and accelerating the growth of our FX trading business in-market.

Role summary:

This position will sell FX trading services to asset managers, hedge funds and active traders in Japan. The individual will develop and complete as sales strategy covering our FX products whilst collaborating with other sales & account teams to deliver coordinated trading, data and post-trade solutions.

  • Has a sales quota and prospects for new sales opportunities

  • Develops pipeline and closes opportunities

What you'll be doing:

  • To identify, prospect and target new clients to sell our FX Transactions solutions

  • Be creative in finding new opportunities using wide variety of tools to source

  • Achieve volume objectives for new client adoption and volume for assigned mandate.

  • Develop deep relationships with FX clients and ensure all potential revenue opportunities have been identified.

  • Optimally oversee the sales process from initial sale, contract signature, document processing/set up to installation and revenue generation.

  • Establish and maintain credibility, respect and high levels of customer service that consistently exceed the expectations of our customers

  • Work well within a team environment to drive growth across a range of client types.

  • Manage team of one direct report.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated ability in sales, preferably in the financial market industry

  • Written and verbal business proficiency in both Japanese and English

  • Extraordinary selling skills (identify, develop & articulate proposition/ consultative selling) as a “hunter”

  • Strong sales closer with a consistent track record selling FX trading tools to financial institutions in Japan

  • Tried contact list of people within the Institutional Hedge Fund and Asset Management segments with referrals from each sector

  • Strong listening skills, ability to develop and implement a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technologies with a high level of proficiency

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal capability

  • The candidate must be highly professional, self-motivated and organized

  • Aptitude and team collaboration with a desire to continuously learn with a desire to grow professionally

  • MBA or University degree or equivalent working experience
