This role supports release management and deployment activities across Salesforce and related business systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce environments managed through Flosum. The position serves as a subject matter expert for deployment execution, release coordination, and environment management. Working closely with administrators, developers, QA teams, and release leadership, this role helps ensure changes are deployed reliably, efficiently, and in accordance with established governance and compliance standards. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Salesforce deployment experience with strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and an AI-enabled approach to improving release quality and operational efficiency.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Coordinate and execute Salesforce deployments across development, sandbox, UAT, and production environments using Flosum.
  • Support release planning activities, including deployment preparation, validation, scheduling, and post-release verification.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, QA resources, and Business Systems Analysts to ensure release readiness.
  • Ensure release documentation, deployment records, and change artifacts are complete and maintained according to established standards.
  • Support deployment activities across integrated business systems, including NetSuite and other enterprise applications.
  • Assist with regression testing coordination, smoke testing validation, and defect triage during release cycles.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and support root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
  • Monitor release activities and proactively communicate risks, blockers, and deployment issues to release leadership.
  • Lead the sandbox refresh activity.
  • Support compliance requirements by following established change management, audit, and segregation-of-duty procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that increase release quality, reliability, and deployment efficiency.

AI-Enabled Expectations

  • Utilize AI tools to improve release documentation, deployment analysis, testing support, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Leverage AI-assisted techniques to accelerate root cause analysis and issue investigation.
  • Identify opportunities where automation or AI-enabled capabilities may improve release execution, testing efficiency, or operational workflows.
  • Support evaluation, testing, and adoption of AI-enabled tools that improve release management processes.
What You'll Need:
  • 4+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, release management, DevOps, or related technical roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployments using Flosum or similar DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Git-based deployment tools).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, environments, sandboxes, and deployment processes.
  • Experience supporting QA, regression testing, or release validation activities.
  • Familiarity with change management and release governance processes.
  • Experience working across technical and business teams to coordinate delivery activities.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools and effective prompting techniques to improve productivity, analysis, documentation, or troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Platform App Builder, or similar).
  • Exposure to NetSuite or other enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or other change management and ITSM tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and release automation practices.
  • Experience supporting global delivery teams.
