We’re looking for an Account Executive to join the Mailtrap team and take ownership of the full sales cycle. Mailtrap.io is a B2B SaaS platform trusted by 1M+ users worldwide. We help developer and product teams test, optimize, and deliver emails with confidence so their work runs smoothly every day.

You’ll work in a fully remote, async-first environment with minimal bureaucracy, where people value clarity, ownership, and quality.

What we’re looking for

  • Senior-level expertise in sales and account management, with at least 3 years of experience in B2B SaaS environments
  • Management skills - own scope, cross-team collaboration, and willingness to grow
  • Fluent English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Confidence in conducting demo calls, negotiating, and driving results
  • Ability to deeply understand the Mailtrap product, including its technical aspects, and independently address common technical questions from customers
  • Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable working with metrics, dashboards, and analytics
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales tools, such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.
  • AI should be used effectively and responsibly to improve work outcomes and decision-making
  • Proactiveness, ownership, and a result-oriented mindset

What you will be responsible for

  • Product demos & account management: Lead and run product demos, introductory calls, and follow-ups to guide users through the sales process, and provide further assistance
  • Relationship management & partnerships: Build and maintain strong customer relationships and strategic partnerships to drive long-term success and satisfaction
  • End-to-end sales ownership: Manage the full sales cycle, including CRM management, reporting, and coordination of legal/contracting steps
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, and customer success teams to align efforts and maximize results
  • Performance tracking & optimization: Use data and dashboards to monitor performance, improve sales workflows, and continuously optimize outcomes
