Senior / Sales Manager (Hotel Industry)

Bonvests Holdings Limited, a public-listed company with diversified businesses in Hotel (Ownership and Management), Property (Investment and Development) and Waste (Management and Contract Cleaning), invites suitably qualified and dedicated candidates to join our corporate head office as a Assistant Sales Manager of The Residence Bintan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and market segment led by the Director of Marketing.

• Utilize company profile database to determine geographic areas for travel agent calls while maintaining top and existing travel agent accounts.

• Lead on-property sales functions to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives.

• Acquire new business and/or close on business.

• Focus on strategies to grow market & new business lead to achieve budget.

• Ensure hotel meets or exceed budgeted goals.

• Organize local and overseas sales trip, attend travel related exhibitions.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of global market with Travel Agencies, MICE planners and social events

• Excellent organization and leadership skill.

• Good negotiation skills and experience with contracting.

• Written and verbal communication skills (English and Mandarin).

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn is a must.

• Ability to travel when necessary.

• Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations and schedules.

• Experience in a sales role with a proven track record in sales.

• Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Tourism , Marketing or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years working experience in Hotel industry.

• Local or overseas Hotel industry experience is preferred.
