Senior SAP Technical Architect (FTC)

Description

The Senior SAP Technical architect should have expertise in SAP full stack development, integration, SAP architecture and SAP BTP. The Senior SAP Technical architect will need to develop a deep understanding of product requirements and needs. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team of technical professionals with strong coordination and capacity management skills to ensure successful delivery, overseeing a team engaged in SAP programming, design, testing and debugging while personally performing the most complex system analysis and programming tasks. The Senior SAP Technical architect will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Business Unit Leads and respective IT counterparts. Activities to be performed in compliance to the Company’s Integrity & Anti Bribery codes, Conflict of interest policy & S.H.E.Q. requirement and is to perform delegated S.H.E.Q. tasks and duties and to is to report deviations.

The Job Requirements

  • Identify innovation, technological trends in the SAP market and opportunities that would support business unit/IT transformation objectives

  • Experience with cross-functional teams and agile working using DevOps methodologies

  • Experience in leadership and in international, cross-functional/matrix and distributed project teams

  • Knowledge of modern system “AR, AI, IoT, RPA, Mobile, and API” and working with Enterprise & Solution Architects

  • Advanced Knowledge of SAP modules within the Maintenance space (MM and PM)

  • Knowledge in SAP BTP, SAP full stack development, integration frameworks and SAP S/4HANA with an added advantage on RISE

Outputs

  • Technical team Supervision\: Plan, assign and supervise the work of an SAP technical team to meet project needs, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Work Review\: Review work products for completeness, accuracy, functionality across modules, and adherence to project requirements.

  • Business Integration\: Collaborate with management and functional teams to integrate business processes with SAP solutions and identify innovative customer outcomes.

  • Advisory Role\: Advise management on cost, efficiency and resource considerations for SAP-based solutions.

  • Solution Architecture\: Formulate plans and specifications detailing workflow, manpower distribution, documentation systems, and management controls.

  • Problem Resolution\: Consult with SAP IT staff to resolve unique technical challenges and ensure effective integration among modules.

  • Technical Requirements\: Define complex technical requirements for system maintenance and future functionality.

  • Documentation\: Coordinate and maintain comprehensive technical program documentation.

  • Hands-on Development\: Personally perform advanced system analysis, design, and programming tasks.

  • Incident Monitoring and resolution\: Responsible for quality of service by ensuring effective ticket handling and incident management. Monitoring the readiness of critical/major incidents feedback in respective forum(s); decision on what is a critical/major incident.
