We are seeking a Senior SDET to drive hands-on automation and quality engineering execution for Saviynt’s cloud-native Identity Security platform. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks that ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our platform.

You will work closely with Engineering and Product teams to implement automation-first testing practices, contribute to CI/CD pipeline quality, and deliver measurable improvements to test coverage and release confidence. You will also actively leverage AI-powered development and testing tools to accelerate your own productivity and the quality of your automation work.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5–8+ years of experience in software test automation, including hands-on framework development.

  • Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Amazon Q Developer, or Cursor.

  • Solid experience building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, PyTest, Robot Framework, or Karate.

  • Strong programming skills in Java and Python (Groovy a plus).

  • Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Working knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).

  • Experience with database validation, test data management, and large-scale automation.

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

  • Familiarity with security and accessibility testing (SAST, DAST, WCAG, axe-core).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering teams.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    Test Automation Development & Execution

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation across APIs, web UI, and backend services.

  • Execute automation strategies supporting Saviynt’s identity platform (IGA, PAM, AAG, ISPM, NHI, RBAC, secrets management).

  • Contribute to and help evolve an automation roadmap aligned with product scalability, reliability, and security goals.

  • AI-Assisted Test Development

  • Actively use AI-powered developer tools (Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, test intelligence platforms) to accelerate automation work.

  • Apply intelligent automation techniques to improve test generation, maintenance, and diagnostics.

  • Quality Engineering Execution

  • Execute testing across functional, regression, performance, security, and resiliency scenarios.

  • Contribute to shift-left testing by integrating automation and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows.

  • Identify and resolve issues affecting test stability, observability, and feedback loops.

  • CI/CD & Pipeline Quality

  • Collaborate with Engineering and SRE to identify coverage gaps, reliability risks, and release quality metrics.

  • Contribute to the optimization of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows for rapid, safe releases.

  • Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Participate in technical reviews of automation frameworks, test plans, and engineering processes.

  • Share knowledge and support teammates to help increase automation maturity and engineering excellence.

  • Contribute to an automation-first culture within your team.

  • If required for this role, you will:
    - Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter
