Title: Senior Software Engineer
Working Location: Bangalore, India


Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced (5+ years) Senior Software Developers to maintain, enhance, and modernize business-critical applications. The ideal candidates must have strong expertise in both Microsoft .NET technologies and Delphi, enabling them to support legacy systems while contributing to ongoing development and integration initiatives.

The role involves analysing requirements, developing and testing software solutions, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and support business-critical applications built using .NET
  • Primarily focus on application maintenance, including incident analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of sustainable corrective actions
  • Provide ongoing support for Delphi-based applications, ensuring stable operation with minimal disruption and targeted enhancements as needed
  • Analyze and understand data and information flow between multiple interconnected systems and applications
  • Assess and document potential opportunities for future redesign or modernization of Delphi applications, including systems supporting the Delphi applications / integration with robotics, should these systems remain in long-term use
  • Analyze business and technical requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues
  • Perform code reviews and implement best practices
  • Support integration with databases, APIs, and third-party systems
  • Implement and maintain data workflows using Apache NiFi when required
  • Prepare technical documentation and user support materials
  • Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and QA teams
  • Ensure operational continuity and technical stability of business-critical services
  • Support and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability improvements
  • Assist with integration-related and data-flow-related infrastructure dependencies, including Apache NiFi.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 6+
  • Proficiency in Delphi (Object Pascal)
  • Experience in software design, development, testing, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, RDMS, MySQL)
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Good documentation and communication skill.

Additional Skills:

  • Visual Basic 6
  • Apache nifi knowledge
  • Exposure to REST APIs and web services
  • CI/CD pipelines and automated testing experience.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience with both .NET and Delphi technologies.
