Senior Software Engineer
You will design and architect cloud-native systems, services, and features to increase automation and ensure system integrity and security. You will work directly with stakeholders to define requirements, deliver features, and provide production support. You will enhance reporting, statements, and login/entitlements management, coordinate cross-functionally to support broader platform functionality, own projects from scoping through production, and leverage AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect systems, services, and features on a cloud-native platform
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs, define requirements, and drive delivery
- Enhance and build reporting, statements, and login/entitlements management systems
- Coordinate cross-functionally with other engineering teams to support platform functionality
- Own projects from scoping through production, managing timelines, dependencies, and communication
- Provide production support and ensure system integrity and security
- Adopt and leverage AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level engineering skills in Java, Scala, Kotlin, C#, or similar
- Solid computer science fundamentals and proven software design and development experience
- Strong database and SQL knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight
- Strong communication skills for presenting trade-offs and keeping stakeholders aligned
- Experience collaborating across teams and functions as part of the SDLC
- Familiarity with the full development lifecycle including requirements definition, agile planning, production deployment, and production support
