For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $171,000 – $198,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Tackle ambiguous problems across fulfillment systems
  • Own end-to-end feature development from design to monitoring
  • Deliver scalable, event-driven, AI-native applications
  • Collaborate with platform teams for system architecture enhancements
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews and design collaboration
  • Drive adoption of AI tooling and effective practices
  • Advocate for refactors and technology upgrades to improve systems
  • Communicate effectively with product, design, and operational teams

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Proven track record in building distributed, cloud-native applications
  • Hands-on experience with serverless architecture
  • Experience shipping AI/LLM features to production
  • Strong instincts for API design and backwards compatibility
  • History of managing large, cross-system initiatives end to end
  • Ability to influence and communicate across multiple teams
  • Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
