Senior Software Engineer
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable platform components using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React
- Maintain and enhance distributed systems and core microservices
- Lead code and architecture reviews to ensure high-quality software
- Drive the adoption of modern infrastructure practices such as CI/CD and containerization
- Translate business needs into robust technical solutions
- Identify and implement improvements to developer workflows
- Engage in production support tasks as needed
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on backend systems and platform services
- Expertise in Node.js and modern development patterns (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Experience with designing and scaling distributed systems for performance and scalability
- Hands-on experience with AWS and production-grade deployments
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and containerization tools (Docker, Terraform)
- Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures)
