Senior Software Engineer - Post Trade

You will build the next generation of trade settlement infrastructure for institutional crypto trading. You will design robust state machines and event-driven microservices, implement scalable APIs and atomic settlement workflows, ensure financial data integrity through locking and audit trails, write rigorous unit integration and load tests, methodically debug distributed systems issues, mentor peers through code reviews, and own features end-to-end including documentation and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable APIs and atomic settlement workflows
• Implement fund encumbrance processes and multi-currency settlement
• Build robust state machines across event-driven microservices
• Ensure financial data integrity using database locking invariant checking and audit trails
• Write rigorous unit integration and load tests covering idempotency and edge cases
• Debug distributed systems including race conditions transaction isolation conflicts and deadlocks
• Mentor peers and perform thorough code reviews
• Own features from architectural design through deployment and document system architecture

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development with 2+ years in complex financial systems such as trading platforms order management clearing settlement or payment processing
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript Node.js and/or Golang
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL including transaction management locking and query optimization
• Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka
• Strong command of microservices architecture inter-service communication data consistency patterns and concurrency
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot Cursor) and ability to validate AI-generated code for correctness and security
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Math or a related field
• Exceptional algorithm design problem-solving and API design skills
• Strong interest in the trading industry crypto markets and blockchain technology
