Senior Software Engineer - Trading

You will lead the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects, designing and building mission-critical trading systems such as order management, execution engines, and reliability infrastructure. You will partner with product and design to align technical work with product strategy, influence the trading stack and roadmap, mentor and coach engineers at multiple levels, and raise engineering quality through design and code review and process improvements. You will deliver reliable, high-quality trading products that meet local and global customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams
• Lead the design and development of mission-critical trading systems including order management, execution engines, and reliability infrastructure
• Partner with product and design to align product strategy with long-term technical roadmap
• Understand and influence the trading stack and product roadmap, identifying strategic technical initiatives
• Mentor and coach engineers across levels and develop future trading and infrastructure leaders
• Elevate engineering quality and promote best practices through design reviews, code reviews, and process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping large-scale distributed systems and significant leadership roles
• Deep expertise in trading systems with hands-on experience in order management, execution algorithms, market data, or risk management
• Strong product intuition and customer obsession to inform technical decisions
• Proven ability to lead and drive complex initiatives across organizational boundaries and influence stakeholders
• Strong mentoring skills and experience building high-performing teams
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, high-velocity environments and providing clear technical direction
• High bar for quality, correctness, and operational excellence
• Experience responsibly using generative AI tools and applying human-in-the-loop practices
