Senior Software Quality Engineer (Government)

We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to drive software quality, test automation, and continuous improvement across large-scale data platforms in an Agile and DevOps environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute risk-based testing strategies across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for applications and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Data Engineers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices.
• Lead system integration testing, UAT, defect management, and test reporting.
• Perform API, security, and exploratory testing to improve overall software quality.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Software QA, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline testing, Python, SQL, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Bamboo), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of API testing, OAuth/JWT authentication, and application security testing.
