Key\nResponsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Lead the sourcing and procurement<\/b> of components\n related to automotive cable and wiring harness assemblies<\/b>,\n including connectors, wires, cables, terminals<\/b>, and electronic\n parts<\/b>.<\/span>
<\/li>- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships<\/span><\/b>, focusing on:<\/span>
<\/li>- Part development and\n validation<\/span><\/b>
<\/li>- Cable assembly\n outsourcing<\/span><\/b>
<\/li>- Overmolding and tooling\n for cable assemblies<\/span><\/b>
<\/li><\/ul>- Ensure on\-time availability<\/b> of components by\n proactively coordinating with suppliers and mitigating potential delays.<\/span>
<\/li>- Drive cost reduction strategies<\/b> through supplier\n negotiations, alternate sourcing, value engineering, and localization.<\/span>
<\/li>- Work closely with internal cross\-functional teams<\/b> (Engineering, Quality, Program Management) and OEM customers<\/b> during\n the development and part approval (PPAP/APQP)<\/b> phases.<\/span>
<\/li>- Apply knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS\n standards<\/b>, and internal sourcing policies in daily operations.<\/span>
<\/li>- Lead a team of sourcing engineers<\/b>, setting clear\n goals, reviewing performance, and supporting their development.<\/span>
<\/li>- Continuously evaluate the supplier base<\/b> for\n competitiveness, risk, capability, and alignment with company goals.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Preferred\nExperience & Skills<\/b>
<\/p>- Proven track record in sourcing wiring and cable\n harness systems<\/b> in the automotive sector<\/b> (OEM or Tier\-1).<\/span>
<\/li>- Strong understanding of technical specifications<\/b>,\n drawings, and manufacturing processes related to cable assemblies.<\/span>
<\/li>- Excellent negotiation<\/b> and supplier management<\/b> skills with a focus on achieving target costs<\/b> and improving\n supplier performance.<\/span>
<\/li>- Experience working with global suppliers<\/b> and\n managing component localization projects.<\/span>
<\/li>- Proficiency in cost analysis<\/b>, should\-cost\n modeling<\/b>, and other cost reduction methodologies<\/b>.<\/span>
<\/li>- Solid knowledge of sourcing processes, ERP systems\n (SAP/Oracle)<\/b>, and procurement best practices.<\/span>
<\/li>- Strong communication and leadership skills<\/b>, with\n experience in leading engineering or sourcing teams.<\/span>
<\/li>- Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards<\/b> in the automotive industry.<\/span>
