About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The successful candidate will provide high-quality critical care nursing services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patients' clinical conditions and responses to treatment.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols.
  • Operate and manage specialised critical care equipment and monitoring devices.
  • Collaborate closely with doctors, allied health professionals, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and changes in patients' conditions.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.
  • Provide education, support, and guidance to patients and their families where appropriate.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programmes, and professional development activities.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a valid registration from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced Nursing Diploma in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
