Senior Staff Software Engineer – Salesforce (FBG Enterprises Opco LLC, New York, NY)

Develop and maintain applications using Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components, Java, AWS, and Xtremepush, including integrations with diverse third-party MarTech and OpsTech tools; Leverage LLMs to build GenAI models that drive value for both internal teams and external customers; Collaborate with internal/external development and product teams to deliver reliable applications aligned with the roadmap, making informed build-vs-buy and technology decisions; Define and enforce best practices, frameworks, and tool usage (including business intelligence solutions), ensuring secure, scalable, and performant deployments; Author technical design documents and architect solutions for complex projects, detailing systems, data flows, libraries, and security considerations; Mentor engineers, providing guidance on coding, design, development, and deployment standards; Ensure operational excellence by triaging/debugging production issues, maintaining SLAs, and implementing strong logging, monitoring, and alerting practices; Own end-to-end delivery of Epics and features, from design and coding/configuration through release, ensuring on-time and high-quality outcomes; Communicate complex technical subjects clearly to varied audiences, including engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders. Up to 5% domestic travel may be required for meetings. Partial telecommuting permitted; on-site at 61 9th Avenue, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10011 when not telecommuting. Salary: $233,400 - $253,400 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 6 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation, job title, or position developing and maintaining backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, plus 6 years of experience, the employer will accept three years of post-secondary studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation, job title, or position developing and maintaining backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

Must also have experience in the following: 6 years of professional experience performing technical design documents detailing: data flow, 3rd party libraries, tools and performance, and security considerations for medium complex initiatives; 6 years of professional experience collaborating with cross-functional internal and external development teams; 6 years of professional experience designing technical documentation outlining system architecture, data flows, third-party tools, performance, and security considerations; 5 years of professional experience maintaining operational excellence by triaging and debugging system-wide production issues, while ensuring compliance with established SLAs and incident resolution protocols; 2 years of professional experience defining detailed epics and writing well-groomed user stories with clear acceptance criteria for agile milestone and sprint planning.
