<\/span><\/p>The Objective<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>We are seeking a\nsenior expert to co\-author a Strategic White Paper addressing the\n"Beneficiation Gap" in the Global South. You will lead the mapping of\nprivate\-sector bottlenecks and the "Four\-Pillar Framework" for\nde\-risking critical mineral midstreams (Data, Capex/Opex, Off\-take, and\nStability).<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Technical Authorship:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Provide\n deep\-tissue technical and financial insights for the Meridian Collective\u2019s\n White Paper on critical mineral midstream.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Cost Modeling:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Develop\n granular indicators for CAPEX and OPEX in jurisdictions like Andhra\n Pradesh, Indonesia, and Malaysia, specifically breaking down costs for\n specialized facilities like chemical leaching and MSX.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Market Intelligence:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Advise on the\n structure of Market Offset Buyers Agreements (MOBA) and\n "Pull\-Through Contracts" between subnational governments,\n beneficiation firms, and OEMs like Tesla or Apple.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Subnational Policy Design:<\/span><\/span><\/b> Help\n "templatize" standardized subnational policy frameworks and\n incentive structures that balance investor ROI with local economic\n beneficiation.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Required Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Industry Seniority: 15+ years of\n experience in the mining and minerals industry, with a direct focus on beneficiation,\n processing, and midstream value\-addition.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Global South Expertise: Proven track\n record of operational or strategic work in high\-potential mineral\n corridors, specifically in India, Indonesia, and/or Malaysia.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Critical Minerals Focus: Deep knowledge\n of Lithium, Nickel, and Rare Earth Elements (REE) supply chains.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- Strategic Network: Previous\n experience working with major critical minerals industries (including\n associations etc.)<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>- PPP Experience: Demonstrated\n experience in understanding state/provincial ecosystem and working of\n benefaction industry.<\/span><\/span>
