Senior Swim Coach & Centre Manager
At Inspire Mum & Baby, we are passionate about creating positive and memorable experiences for women, babies, children and families. We operate a private indoor heated pool and offer specialised aquatic programmes for babies, children, prenatal and postnatal clients.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Swim Coach & Centre Manager to lead our coaching team, maintain high teaching standards, oversee daily centre operations, and support the continued growth of our programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Programme Delivery
- Conduct high-quality swim lessons for babies, toddlers, children and families.
- Ensure classes are conducted safely and professionally.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.
- Maintain excellent customer service and client experience.
- Uphold the centre's child-led and family-centred teaching philosophy.
Coach Training & Leadership
- Mentor, train and develop junior coaches.
- Conduct regular coach observations and feedback sessions.
- Support onboarding and training of new instructors.
- Ensure consistency in teaching standards, lesson delivery and safety practices.
- Assist in developing training resources, SOPs and programme improvements.
Centre Management
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth running of classes.
- Manage scheduling, manpower planning and class allocations.
- Handle parent enquiries, feedback and service recovery situations.
- Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to support enrolment and retention efforts.
- Monitor programme quality, attendance and client satisfaction.
Business Growth & Performance
- Support trial-to-enrolment conversions and customer retention initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Contribute ideas for programme development and centre growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of swim coaching experience.
- Experience teaching babies, toddlers and children preferred.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring or training coaches is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing others.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfortable working weekends.
- Relevant swimming and coaching certifications preferred.
