Your Challenge:
Senior Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) is responsible for leading, applying and improving the MBSE methodology in various projects within different Philips businesses.
Your role:

Striving for the highest quality of healthcare products, you will be working on implementing and applying Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in R&D departments within various Philips businesses. Your knowledge and skills will help us continuously improve our Systems Engineering practices and prepare us for the future.
You will be a part of the Model-Based Systems Engineering competence group within the Innovation Engineering central function, primarily located in the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The MBSE group comprises of approx.25 highly skilled and motivated MBSE and Computational Modeling professionals working on different projects across all Philips businesses. These projects can cover every phase of the product life cycle, from development, manufacturing, market deployment, operation, and maintenance to phase-out. You will also help to deploy MBSE capability throughout the global company by providing coaching and/or leading a team of system engineers.
In this role, from being on the front-end of Philips product development through MBSE deployment activities, you will be able to guide every aspect of MBSE and product development at Philips. Our external engagement with other companies will allow you to also build a strong network of same-minded professionals across High Tech industry.
You're the right fit if:
7+ years of experience in an R&D environment in a regulated environment (a medical device company is strongly preferred).
You are all around System Engineer, an expert on Requirements Engineering, Risk Management and design in a regulated environment (e.g. medical, aerospace).
You have experience with model-based systems engineering tools e.g. Cameo and their customization e.g. Structured Expressions, Scripting, Profiles, Custom Diagrams, Validation Rules philosophy and implementation, Plugin Development etc.
You have experience with SysML at least in Model User Level and with scripting as a plus.
You are familiar with Structure, Behavior, Requirements and Parametric Models implementation.
You are able to create MetaModel and DataModel definitions.
You have experience with Hospital Patient Monitoring products or other Philips medical products
You have a M.Sc. degree in Embedded Controls and System Design, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or in a similar field.
You are an excellent communicator who can operate on different levels of architectural details with a hands-on mentality.
