Senior/Technical Manager
Job Description
- Lead and review engineering designs to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and projects and tenders’ requirements.
- Develop and validate geotechnical, transport and building models, parameters, and design solutions.
- Plan and manage design programmes to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and interface issues.
- Provide technical support during construction and recommend solutions to site challenges. Ensure constructability, safety, and cost-effectiveness in all design and construction activities.
- Manage design changes, RFIs, and technical documentation in line with contract requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, resources, and risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise engineering teams while driving continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum requirement with Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, preferably Doctorate Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 16 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or engineering consultancy.
- Preferably with experience in condominium/residential developments and healthcare facilities.
- Experience in both design consultancy or construction environments preferred.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skill.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in design management and site technical coordination.
- Able to work 5.5 days per work week.
