Senior Technical Program Manager
Mindtickle is looking for an experienced, self-driven, detail-oriented Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for our Enterprise SaaS platform - someone who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges, champions quality, and brings a collaborative style to cross-functional teams, and and embraces modern execution practices in an AI-enabled world that demands strategic alignment, systems thinking, sound judgment, trust building, and measurable business outcomes.
You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with high ambiguity and high stakes, delivering outcomes for enterprise and strategic customers. Constraints are real. Visibility is high. Customer commitments matter. Success will be shared widely; setbacks will be owned, learned from, and used to improve. If you thrive where the path is unclear and the outcome matters, this role is for you.
In an AI-enabled world, we need a TPM who combines technical acumen, systems thinking, and strong execution. You will eliminate roadblocks, proactively mitigate risks, align stakeholders, and drive delivery excellence while balancing speed with rigor, quality, scalability, reliability and operational excellence. You will also help establish repeatable mechanisms, operating rhythms, and execution frameworks that enable teams to deliver predictably at scale.
Most importantly, you will play a critical role in delivering a world-class customer experience. Customer outcomes should remain at the center of every roadmap decision, dependency, trade-off, and delivery milestone. We are looking for someone who can advocate for the customer when priorities compete and consistently translate execution excellence into meaningful customer and business impact.
If you are looking for certainty, this role will frustrate you. If you are looking for challenge, ownership, and the opportunity to influence meaningful outcomes at scale, we would love to talk.
Role Expectations:
This role is not about tracking work. It is about creating clarity, driving alignment, and making outcomes inevitable.
Drive the delivery and execution of engineering roadmap (multiple medium to large-scale, complex projects) by imbibing a strategic outlook from the outset and by partnering with engineering, product, design, quality engineering, DevOps and other cross-functional teams.
Leverage customer feedback, operational insights, and platform data to identify friction points and ensure engineering investments address the highest-impact customer and business needs.
Drive AI-enabled execution by leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate planning, decision-making, documentation, risk and dependency identification/mitigation, and program delivery while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
Drive AI-first program thinking by grounding decisions in metrics, facts, and structured narratives to ensure strategic alignment.
Establish appropriate governance and review mechanisms for AI-assisted development, ensuring quality, reliability, security, and compliance are not compromised in pursuit of speed.
Drive alignment, influence decisions, and create momentum across teams and leaders without relying on formal authority.
Influence executives, product and engineering leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders through data, structured thinking, and clear narratives.
Foster transparent communication around shared outcomes and customer expectations.
Adapt program execution practices to AI development lifecycles where requirements, capabilities, and technical approaches can evolve rapidly as models, tools, and learnings mature.
Ensure smooth execution of complex programs or programs with cross-stream dependencies
Facilitate technical discussions around architectural trade-offs, scaling challenges, and system performance with the goal of unblocking teams.
Build and institutionalize reusable frameworks and tools to enable predictable, repeatable execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Periodically drive the health of the systems, operational readiness, and Incident Response Management.
Work closely with engineering leaders to define, implement, standardize and continuously evolve the practices.
Foster a culture of agility, adaptability, resilience, speed, and continuous improvement ensuring good practices and light-touch processes that accelerate from planning, execution to launch and successful landing.
Requirements:
Minimum relevant experience in TPM role: 8-10 years of experience preferably in an enterprise SaaS/Cloud architecture.
Prior experience in engaging with enterprise customers is a plus.
Experience building execution mechanisms that enable continuous learning, informed experimentation, and predictable delivery in AI-enabled engineering organizations.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions with incomplete information, and maintain execution momentum in rapidly evolving AI environments.
Sound judgment, strong prioritization skills, and a bias for action.
Past experience in establishing, driving operational excellence, productivity metrics and transformation.

Performance, Scalability and Security
Knowledge of Authentication vs Authorization, and Enterprise Integrations
SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect)
Identity & Access Management (IAM) frameworks
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) & Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Just-in-time (JIT) provisioning and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management)
Observability and Monitoring:
Exposure to APM tools like Datadog.
Good to have:
Background in startups or 0-1 programs.
Key Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, structured thinking, including the ability to create decision-ready narratives for technical and executive audiences.

What success looks like
Programs ship predictably with quality, delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.
Operational excellence improves through stronger execution mechanisms, predictable delivery, and continuous improvement.
Teams stay focused; stakeholders stay informed; decisions stay documented.
Surprises are rare because risks and dependencies are identified and addressed early.
Execution becomes more predictable, scalable, and repeatable.
In moments of uncertainty, you are the calm center in the storm.
The reality
High ambiguity and evolving priorities.
Customers experience the outcome, not internal complexity.
Customer outcomes and commitments remain the north star, even when priorities compete.
Balancing customer needs, business objectives, and engineering realities requires sound judgment and thoughtful trade-offs.
Complex cross-functional dependencies and accountability without always having authority.
Why this team
Executive support, strong product and senior engineering partners.
