Senior Test / QA Lead

As a Test /QA Lead you will have the opportunity to:

• Create and maintain test strategy / plans

• Analyze and interpret design specifications, business requirements and apply information to the testing process

• Create and document test cases/test scripts

• Participate in daily scrum meetings

• Develop / Monitor & Report daily test execution plans

• Drive & triage defects • Transform the testing team to adopt tools / agile ways of working & enabling collection of quality metrics

• Interface with the customer / influence them / provide accurate status

• Improve team morale & support team development including offshore Minimum education qualification

• A bachelor's degree in any discipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have:

• 11+ years as QA Analyst / QA lead with progressive responsibility as a lead

• Ability to troubleshoot, research, and work through complex problems

• Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and Test Methodologies from project definition to post-deployment documentation • Experience gathering requirements

• Experience writing test scripts and test planning

• Experience using testing tools (Preferably Rally, HP ALM)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment • Experience in Java/C# development experience is preferred • Experience with Service Level testing using SOAP UI is a must • Setup Test Data & Troubleshoot UNIX logs • Automation using Selenium or similar tools • Performance Test a plus • Extensive Telecom Background a must
