Senior TPM for Infra Initiatives

Summary:

The Senior Technical Program Manager drives large-scale, cross-functional technical initiatives that are critical to Tekion’s business and product strategy. This role is responsible for end-to-end program leadership, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and operational teams while delivering complex programs on time and within scope. The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with strong technical depth, stakeholder management experience, and a track record of delivering in high-growth environments.​

Duties & Responsibilities:

• ​Lead the execution of high-impact technical programs involving multiple teams, systems, and stakeholders
• ​Partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and other functions to define scope, success metrics, and delivery plans
• ​Identify and proactively manage program risks, dependencies, and trade-offs; escalate as needed to unblock progress
• ​Establish clear operating cadences, including status reporting, stakeholder communication, and executive updates
• ​Drive clarity and accountability across workstreams, ensuring alignment with company goals and product milestones
• ​Mentor junior TPMs and contribute to developing best practices, templates, and tools for the TPM function
• ​Influence strategic planning and roadmapping with a program-centric execution lens​

Job Complexity:

Manages technically and operationally complex programs with significant business impact and multiple dependencies​

Required Supervision:

Operates with minimal supervision; expected to drive cross-functional programs independently and make strategic execution decisions​

Expertise:

Recognized expert in technical program delivery; demonstrates leadership in both technical execution and stakeholder alignment​

Qualifications:

• ​6–8 years of experience in technical program management, software delivery, or engineering leadership
• ​Proven track record of leading complex technical programs in fast-paced or high-growth environments
• ​Deep understanding of software development, system architecture, and agile methodologies
• ​Exceptional stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and communication skills
• ​Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other project management and collaboration tools
• ​Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe) a plus
