Brighton Jones is seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Manager to support our Family Office team and Brighton Jones Trust Company. This individual reports to the Director of Estate Planning and plays a central role in coordinating estate planning and other legal services for ultra-high net worth clients and trust onboarding and administration services for Brighton Jones Trust Company.
This role requires deep technical and practical expertise in trust and estate laws, transfer tax planning for high-net worth individuals, trustee fiduciary compliance, and trust administration. You will work closely with our Family Office wealth advisors, coordinating strategy, timing, and execution across clients’ legal, tax, and financial landscape. In addition, as the primary point of contact for Brighton Jones Trust Company, you will be responsible for fiduciary support, coordinating initial trust onboarding, and ongoing trust administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Family Office Legal Support
- Partner closely with the Director of Estate Planning to coordinate and execute estate planning and other legal services for ultra-high net worth Family Office clients
- Analyze estate plans and trust documents, prepare summaries and flowcharts, identify planning opportunities and gaps
- Assist with targeted legal research
- Transfer tax modeling
- Coordinate with clients outside legal advisors to draft legal documents
- Proactively identify legal needs and planning opportunities tailored to the clients’ personal, charitable, tax, and financial goals
- Coordinate income and transfer tax reporting
- Support Family Office advisors in managing complex, multi-generational trust and estate structures for ultra-high net worth clients
- Facilitate clear communication and information flow across legal, advisory, and operational teams
Brighton Jones Trust Company Support
- Partner closely with the Director of Estate Planning to oversee Brighton Jones Trust Company’s trustee and other fiduciary services
- Support initial trust onboarding and account set up for new clients
- Manage ongoing trust administration, including coordinating trust distributions, reporting to beneficiaries, and trust accountings
- Workflow and project management, including tracking trust milestones, deliverables, and deadlines
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise strong judgment in handling sensitive client and family information
- Partner with legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with fiduciary and regulatory requirements
- Support internal coordination, project tracking, and operational updates as the trust company continues to scale
Operational Excellence & Workflow Management
- Own and improve tracking systems for trust and estate and related legal services workflows, ensuring visibility, accountability, and follow-through
- Manage scheduling and coordination for trust and estate-related meetings, working sessions, and internal discussions
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation across systems
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce friction, and improve operational efficiency
- Assist with billing, reporting, and preparation of client materials and presentation decks
What You Bring:
6+ years of direct experience working with high-net worth clients providing family office/private client services, trust and estate and related legal services, and trust administration work.
Paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training.
Experience within or closely supporting a trust company, corporate trustee, or similar environment strongly preferred
Experience supporting estate planning strategy and execution, ideally in a Family Office or ultra high net worth client environment
Strong ability to read, interpret, and translate trust and estate documents into clear actions and operational requirements
Deep familiarity with trust structures, estate planning concepts, and fiduciary responsibilities
Experience supporting trust administration process
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Clear, professional, and concise communication skills
High level of discretion and professionalism handling sensitive client information
This role is an in-office, full-time, and exempt position. We are a work from office culture with a lot of flexibility.

Compensation:
Pay: $100K – $150K+
