Job Description\:

Coordinate and deliver end‑to‑end logistics activities to support Typhoon production, ensuring efficient material flow, robust planning, and on‑time delivery. Your role is responsible for overseeing logistics operations, supporting strategic deployment, and maintaining compliance within a regulated environment. Working across internal functions and external partners, the post holder ensures supply chain performance, risk mitigation, and data integrity while meeting delivery commitments and contributing to continuous improvement across the Line of Business.

Core duties\:

  • Oversee delivery of logistics activity across production, govern order books, coordinating schedules, controlling material flow and WIP, and resolving supply and quality issues
  • Support the Head of Logistics in deploying strategy, policies, and integrated production planning, ensuring alignment with business targets and export control requirements
  • Represent logistics in delivery and operational forums, maintaining delivery commitments, forecasts, and the resolution of supply chain performance issues
  • Provide leadership and governance across the logistics function, ensuring SHE compliance, data integrity, performance management, and capability development
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal functions, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to deliver an integrated and resilient logistics solution

Essential Skills\:

  • Must hold CILT qualification (or equivalent relevant qualification) and demonstrable experience coordinating end-to-end logistics operations or supply chain within a multi-faceted manufacturing environment, including order book management, scheduling, material flow, WIP control, expediting, and non‑conformance coordination
  • Proficient ability to assess performance metrics, forecasts, and logistics data to drive delivery performance, support planning, and maintain data integrity
  • Considerable working knowledge ERP systems (ideally InFor LN) with advanced Excel capability for planning, reporting, and operational control
  • Experience mitigating supply chain risk, including identification, escalation, working cross-functionally and engaging with suppliers and partners to resolve issues and support delivery commitments across the supply chain
  • Experience operating within regulated industries (e.g. aerospace or defence), with an understanding of compliance, governance frameworks, and export control regulations and processes

The Typhoon Logistics Team\:

The team is central to keeping the programme moving, ensuring the right material is in the right place at the right time to support production delivery. Working closely with Production Operations teams across the Typhoon organisation, the team operates across planning, material flow, and supply chain coordination within a multi-faceted manufacturing environment. It’s a fast‑paced, highly integrated logistics operation where strategies directly influence build performance, delivery assurance, and overall operational success.
