Senior Venue Sales and Partnership Officer (Performing Arts)

The Senior Venue Sales and Partnership Officer (Performing Arts) is responsible for driving venue hire revenue, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing the commercial value of the venue. This role will have the opportunity to identify new business opportunities while managing existing hirers relationships.


You will be responsible for:


Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and secure venue hire opportunities for WestK performing arts venues namely Xiqu Centre, Freespace and WestK Performing Arts Centre ;
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise minor venues utilisation and revenue;
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts with clients with the completion of full sales cycle;

Partnership Coordination

  • Support various initiatives to service established partnerships;

Event & Project Execution

  • Assist to work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution;
  • Responsible on all venues sales team related projects and provide support to any ad-hoc assignment required; and
  • Performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.

You should:

  • possess University degree in Event Management, Arts Management, Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field;
  • have minimum 3 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in hospitality or cultural related / performing arts sector with client-facing or service-oriented environment;
  • have ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously;
  • possess a can-do attitude with problem‑solving skills;
  • be proficient in event booking platforms and Microsoft Office suite; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
