Senior Web Engineer

You will build Incode's visual fraud investigation platform from the ground up. You will design and implement an interactive graph explorer and embeddable graph visualizations, translate UI/UX designs into responsive interactive interfaces, integrate with backend services and REST APIs, optimize web performance and cross-browser behavior, implement web security best practices, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve the frontend architecture and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications
  • Implement interactive graph explorer and embeddable graph visualizations
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive interactive user experiences
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Integrate backend services and REST APIs to ensure reliable data flow
  • Implement web security best practices to protect application and data
  • Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high code quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
  • Experience with Git, CLI workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience with tools like Jira or Notion
  • Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with fluency in English
  • Nice to have: experience with WebGL or canvas-based rendering for large-scale graph layouts
  • Nice to have: exposure to fraud, IDV, KYC, or AML product domains
  • Nice to have: knowledge of graph data structures and traversal algorithms
  • Nice to have: backend experience with Java or Kotlin and the Spring framework
  • Nice to have: knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
