SEO Specialist
- Support SEO execution across client accounts, including on-page optimization, technical checks, reporting preparation, and implementation tracking.
- Pull and organize keyword, ranking, traffic, and competitor data for Lead SEO Strategist review.
- Draft title tags, meta descriptions, H1 recommendations, FAQ recommendations, and other on-page SEO elements.
- Assist with optimizing existing website content for search intent, keyword alignment, internal linking, and user experience.
- Run first-pass technical SEO checks, including sitemap, robots.txt, indexability, canonical tags, redirects, broken links, metadata, mobile usability, and page performance.
- Document SEO findings clearly using URLs, screenshots, notes, and issue trackers.
- Support monthly SEO reporting by gathering data from tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, rank trackers, and dashboards.
- Help prepare first-pass report notes, task summaries, screenshots, and performance observations.
- Assist with Local SEO tasks, including Google Business Profile updates, Bing Places setup, LocalFalcon reporting, citation building, and NAP consistency checks.
- Support AI/GEO visibility workflows by running approved prompt checks, capturing screenshots, logging brand mentions, tracking competitor mentions, and documenting citation opportunities.
- Maintain SEO trackers, citation logs, backlink logs, reporting documents, and implementation records.
- Follow SEO SOPs and QA checklists to ensure work is accurate, consistent, and ready for review.
- Collaborate with the Lead SEO Strategist, project managers, content teams, and web teams to support client SEO initiatives.
- Stay up to date with SEO best practices, local search trends, AI search developments, and changes in search engine behavior.
- 2-4 years of SEO experience, or equivalent hands-on digital marketing experience with SEO exposure.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, title tags, meta descriptions, H1s, internal linking, content optimization, indexing, and basic technical SEO.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Ability to organize data clearly in spreadsheets, trackers, or project management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to document findings clearly using screenshots, URLs, and concise notes.
- Comfortable working across multiple client accounts and recurring deadlines.
- Coachable, curious, and open to feedback.
- Interest in Local SEO, AI search, GEO, and emerging search behavior.
