- Handle L2 incidents and requests escalated from L1 or received directly via Hotline
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to OS, servers, virtualization, network connectivity, and system services
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Provide resolution or workaround within agreed SLA; escalate to L3/vendor when required
- Support installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of server systems
- Operate and maintain:
- Linux and/or Windows Server environments
- Virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V / KVM)
- Backup, restore, and storage systems - Coordinate with Network, Security, Application, and Cloud teams during incident resolution
- Participate in incident review, problem management, and preventive actions
- Maintain operational documents, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Support DR/BCP testing and production system maintenance activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
- 2–5 years of experience in Server / System / Infrastructure Operations
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) and/or Windows Server
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall concepts) - Experience working in L2 support, NOC, Hotline, or 24x7 operation environment
- Comfortable working in fixed shifts including weekends
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents
- Good communication skills for coordination and escalation
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Ability to work independently during shifts
- Good at English communication
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiar with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Relevant certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, MCSA, CCNA, ITIL Foundation
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English
Work Schedule:
- Fixed shift: Full Saturday and Sunday and 3 week days, 2 week days off
- Two days off per week (based on assigned shift)
- Involved in Hotline / On-call services
- Flexible start hours between 7:45 AM and 9:00 AM with manager approval.
