Automotive Service Advisor
Position Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth service experience from check-in to vehicle delivery. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Schedule

$22+ per hour (starting range)

Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Greet every customer promptly with a professional and welcoming attitude

Verify and update customer information (phone, email, etc.)

Accurately gather and document vehicle concerns

Write clear, detailed repair orders for technicians

Perform a visual inspection of vehicles and document condition

Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repairs
-
Provide accurate estimates and explain recommended services

Ensure all work aligns with warranty and company guidelines

Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process

Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
-
Build strong relationships to encourage repeat and referral business

Maintain high customer satisfaction scores

Keep work area clean and organized

Follow all company policies, procedures, and service processes
Qualifications
-
1+ year of Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer experience preferred
-
Experience with CDK (Dealer Management System) required

Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to multitask and manage multiple repair orders

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

Self-motivated with a desire to grow in the automotive industry

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a background check

Authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.

Must be able to carry and transport up to 25 pounds up to 60 feet.

Requires sitting for extended periods of time.

Requires standing for periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling.

Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity. Must be able to type for extended periods of time.

Requires being able to hear and speak with others in-person or on the phone.
